Windhoff ASW sleeper changer

The sleeper changer is a multi-functional unit for filling and replacement of the ballast plane and for removal and replacement of both single and several consecutive sleepers. The attachment is connected to a two-way machine or rail vehicle from which it receives hydraulic power and by which it is driven. The hydraulic tongs as well as the fully rotatable drive enable safe and gentle lifting and laying of concrete sleepers B55/58 and B70 and wooden and steel sleepers. The sleeper changer is equipped with three shovel-like segments, which are designed to rake ballast under the rail grate. The shovel-like segments can be removed for changing single sleepers.
